Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Suubula Online, a premier online marketplace operated by Webay Group Uganda Limited, a company registered in Uganda. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using our services.

2. Definitions

  • "Platform": Refers to the Suubula Online website and mobile applications.

  • "Vendor": An individual or entity that registers on the Platform to list and sell products.

  • "Customer": An individual who purchases products from the Platform.

  • "User": Any individual or entity accessing the Platform, including Vendors and Customers.

3. Vendor Registration and Verification

To become a Vendor on Suubula Online, you must:

  • Complete the registration process by providing accurate and truthful information.

  • Undergo a verification process, which may include submitting business documents for review.

  • Agree to these Terms and any additional policies set forth by Suubula Online.

We reserve the right to approve or reject any Vendor application at our sole discretion.

4. Vendor Plans and Fees

Vendors are required to select a Vendor Plan during registration. Each plan may include different features and services. All applicable fees are outlined in the selected plan and are payable as specified. We do not charge commissions on sales.

5. Product Listings

Vendors are responsible for:

  • Ensuring all product listings are accurate, complete, and comply with applicable laws.

  • Uploading high-quality images and descriptions of products.

  • Keeping inventory levels updated and removing listings for out-of-stock items.

Suubula Online reserves the right to remove any listings that violate these Terms or applicable laws.

6. Pricing and Payment

  • Currency: All transactions are conducted in Ugandan Shillings (UGX).

  • Payment Methods: We support the following payment methods:

    • Credit/Debit Cards

    • Mobile Money (e.g., MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money)

    • Cash on Delivery (COD)

  • Payment Processing: There are no additional fees for payment processing. Payments are processed securely through our payment gateway.

7. Shipping and Delivery

  • Vendor Responsibility: Vendors are responsible for selecting their preferred logistics partners and managing the shipping of their products.

  • Shipping Costs: Vendors may set their own shipping fees, which will be displayed to Customers during checkout.

  • Delivery Times: Estimated delivery times will vary based on the shipping method and destination.

  • Liability: Suubula Online is not liable for any issues arising from shipping, including delays, damages, or losses.

8. Returns and Refunds

  • Vendor Responsibility: Vendors are responsible for handling returns and refunds in accordance with their individual policies.

  • Return Period: The return period is determined by the Vendor and should be clearly stated in the product listing.

  • Refund Processing: Refunds are processed by the Vendor and may take several business days to complete.

  • Liability: Suubula Online is not liable for any disputes arising from returns or refunds.

9. User Conduct

Users agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration and transactions.

  • Refrain from engaging in fraudulent activities, spamming, or listing illegal items.

  • Not attempt to circumvent the established sales process or divert users to external platforms.

Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

10. Dispute Resolution

In the event of disputes between users, we encourage direct communication to resolve issues amicably. If unresolved, disputes will be governed by the laws of Uganda.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect personal information, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, and delivery addresses, to facilitate transactions. This information is shared with third parties only when necessary to complete transactions and is not used for marketing purposes.

12. Intellectual Property

  • Ownership: All content on Suubula Online, including product listings, images, and descriptions, is owned by Webay Group Uganda Limited.

  • License: By uploading content, Vendors grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute the content on our platform.

  • Infringement: Users must not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others. Any content that violates these rights may be removed.

13. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that:

  • Violates these Terms or applicable laws.

  • Engages in activities detrimental to the platform's integrity.

  • Fails to comply with our policies.

Vendors may terminate their accounts by providing written notice to us.

14. Limitation of Liability

Suubula Online provides a platform for transactions between Vendors and Customers. We are not responsible for the quality, legality, or performance of products sold by Vendors. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Uganda. Any legal actions or proceedings related to these Terms shall be conducted in the courts of Uganda.

16. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
